Biography

Tamara Ivanova, MSN, FNP-C, graduated from Western Carolina University in Ashville, North Carolina, with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Ms. Ivanova has specialized in cardiology since graduation from nurse practitioner school. Her area of interest is in electrophysiology including non-valvular atrial fibrillation and arrhythmias.

Ms. Ivanova is a Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN), as well as a member of the American Association of Family Nurse Practitioners and the American Heart Association. In addition, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and biking. She also enjoys cooking and reading.
