Biography

Stephanie H. Garris, MSN, RN, NP-C, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner degree at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Ms. Garris has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2016 working in endocrinology for three of those years. She and her husband have lived in southwest Virginia for the past four years and she’s excited to be back near family in the Hampton Roads area. Her clinical interests include managing diabetes and thyroid disorders. Her goal is to empower patients to take control of their own health and wellbeing.

Ms. Garris is a certified Nurse Practitioner and a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
