Biography

Sal Abubakar, MD, received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Gondar – College of Medicine and Health Sciences in Gondar, Ethiopia. He then completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Dr. Abu’s internal medicine residency was completed at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Abubakar brings with him an excellent medical knowledge and skill in managing care for patients with wide-ranging medical conditions in both hospital and outpatient settings. He specializes in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. In his free time, Dr. Abubakar enjoys spending time with his family, bike riding, sports, and watching movies.
