Biography

Ruchita Simoes, MD, received her medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, where she also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Medstar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she served as Chief Resident and was awarded Intern of the Year. Prior to her internal medicine residency, Dr. Simoes was an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SBKS Medical College in Waghodiya, India.

Dr. Simoes is a member of the American College of Physicians. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring students, and in her free time, enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction books, and spending time with her family. Dr. Simoes is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
