Biography

Reid Wilkinson, MPA, PA-C, is a proud graduate of the Virginia Military Institute Class of 2020. He received a B.S. in Biology and graduated as a Distinguished Graduate with Institute Honors. While at VMI, Mr. Wilkinson was an avid undergraduate researcher and teacher’s assistant while simultaneously serving as a leader in the Corps of Cadets on the logistics staff. He also worked as an EMT for the Lexington (VA) Fire Department, earning their EMS Provider of the Year in 2019. Following his graduation from VMI, he returned home to Hampton Roads and served as a prehospital provider for the Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Chesapeake Fire Department.

Mr. Wilkinson then matriculated with the Eastern Virginia Medical School PA class of 2024. In PA school, he recognized his interest in trauma and critical care medicine and sought opportunities to further expand upon his interests. He served as the VP of CME Advancement for the EVMS Ultrasound Club, the school’s largest student interest club. In 2022 the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants recognized Mr. Wilkinson as its PA Student of the Year.

He is board certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Mr. Wilkinson’s clinical interests include point-of-care ultrasound, bedside procedures, the resuscitation of the critically ill or injured patient, and the EMS-definitive care interface. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, pickleball, going to the beach, and playing with his nieces and nephews. He is a proud Norfolk native and is excited to build his career near home.
