Biography

Laura Galo, MD, graduated magna cum laude from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where she achieved her medical degree. Lastly, she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greensville, North Carolina. A few of Dr. Galo’s specialty competencies include high risk obstetrics, total laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy, fetal growth ultrasound, and fetal biophysical profile.

Dr. Galo is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also likes to bake, crochet, and she considers herself a donut connoisseur.
