Biography

Karen McGeehan, MD, graduated with her Bachelor of Science in biology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed her family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She enjoys taking care of families and having long-term relationships with her patients. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine with a special interest in geriatrics.

Dr. McGeehan is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her two children. She is excited to return to Hampton Roads, having lived and worked here for twenty years prior to practicing in Pennsylvania.
