Biography

Emily C. Kemner, DO, FACOG, was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston. She graduated from Grove City College with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. Following her graduation from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University and Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. The Air Force then brought her to Hampton Roads where she practiced for four years at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Kemner enjoys practicing full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care throughout a patient’s lifetime through education and empowerment. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality individualized care. Her specialized interests include complex minimally invasive surgery and menopausal medicine.

Her passion for medicine was sparked in a remote hospital in the Ecuadorian rainforest and has allowed her to volunteer in the Dominican Republic and India. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, hiking, and discovering new wineries with her friends and family.
