Biography

Dr. Edward Hanna has been a practicing family physician in the Hampton Roads area for over 30 years. He received his undergraduate education from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. In 1978, he graduated with his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hanna completed his family practice residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Hanna is board certified in family medicine. He is an associate professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School with privileges at three hospitals. In addition to helping his patients live well, he enjoys skating, playing ice hockey, jogging, biking, listening to music, volunteering at his church, and spending time with his wife and two children. Dr. Hanna also speaks French.
