Biography

Chandler Winnie, PA-C, graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPA) degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia graduating at the top of her class with honors distinction. Her clinical interests include ultrasound and critical care medicine.

Prior to joining Bayview, Mrs. Winnie worked in emergency medical services as a paramedic for nearly a decade. In that role, she managed critically ill medical and trauma patients and performed procedures including, intubation with RSI capability, wound management and other emergent tasks. Mrs. Winnie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs. She is a proud native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and enjoys outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, camping, and golfing.
