Biography

Bill W. Berry, Jr., MD, received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. He completed both his internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago between 1991-1996. Furthering his education, Dr. Berry completed a fellowship in Rhinology and Advanced Sinus Surgery at the Georgia Nasal & Sinus Institute in 2000. Dr. Berry has also completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Dr. Berry is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Dr. Berry has over 30 years of clinical experience in private practice and has lived in and served the patients of Hampton Roads since 2000.  He has held and served in many leadership roles including community faculty for the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at EVMS, Chief of Staff at Sentara Bayside Hospital and on the Advisory committee for the Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Campus.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Princess Anne Ambulatory Surgery Center. 

Dr. Berry’s clinical interests and expertise include medical and surgical treatment for a broad array of both Adult and Pediatric ENT disorders.

In his free time, Dr. Berry enjoys spending time with his two daughters, as well as exercising, gardening and yoga.
