Biography

Anjali Sood, MD, received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She then completed her medical degree at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York. Furthering her education, she completed her family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Her clinical interests include preventive care, mental health and addiction medicine, and global health.

Dr. Sood specializes in family medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active by playing tennis and hiking, and traveling.
