It is with deep respect and gratitude that I share the news of the passing of my dear friend and business partner, Dr. Anthony “Tony” Cetrone. Tony left us peacefully on January 16th, leaving behind a legacy of care, compassion, and unwavering dedication to our community.
In August of 1991, Tony and I partnered to open Bayview Medical Center, a venture that would grow into the thriving Bayview Physicians Group we are proud of today. Tony’s leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence were instrumental in shaping the success of our group, and his contributions to the field of healthcare will be felt for generations to come.
Tony’s life was a testament to his passion for improving the health and well-being of others. As the president of NowCare Physicians and Bayview Physicians, he devoted himself to urgent care and occupational medicine, with a particular focus on the health and wellness of local first responders. His work in these areas made a lasting impact on countless lives and improved the safety and quality of life for many who serve our community.
Above all, Tony was a loyal friend and colleague. His generosity, humor, and dedication to those around him made him a joy to work with and to know. His spirit, his passion, and his unwavering commitment to service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of working with him.
To Tony’s friends and colleagues, I offer my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to have shared so many years of partnership and friendship. While we will miss him dearly, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy of care and dedication will continue through you all.
Rest well, my friend. Your legacy lives on in the work you’ve done and the lives you’ve touched.
With gratitude and respect,
Jim Hartz
