Biography

Sherese L. Bunkley, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the University of Alaska – Anchorage. She continued her education and received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from Frontier Nursing University. She is passionate about reducing disparities in healthcare and providing quality individualized patient care. Her clinical interests include treatment involving pediatric patients and their families, adolescent depression, asthma, obesity management, breastfeeding support, and newborn wellness & acute care management.

Ms. Bunkley is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and DNPs of Color. Ms. Bunkley is very involved in her local church and is a self-proclaimed foodie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, relaxing at the beach, reading, and dance fitness.
