Biography

Rupali Yakhmi, MD, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She graduated with her medical degree from American University of Antigua, and completed her internal medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Yakhmi’s professional interests include internal medicine, teaching, clinical research, and an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Dr. Yakhmi is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.  In her free time, she enjoys playing with her pets, going to the beach, and decorating her house. Dr. Yakhmi is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
