Biography

Nana Sarpong Mensah, MD, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana. She completed her master’s degree in public health at Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health in New York City. Dr. Mensah earned her medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, and completed her family medicine residency at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Her clinical interests include hospital medicine, family medicine, global health, and epidemiology.

Dr. Mensah is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. In her free time, Dr. Mensah enjoys dancing, music, anime, Marvel and DC comics, reading, and learning different languages. She is fluent in English, conversational French, and Akan.
