Biography

Laurie Carpenter, MSN, WHNP-BC, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, specializing in women’s health, at Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina. Her clinical interests include educating menopausal patients and helping with symptom management, addressing adolescent gynecology concerns such as poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), birth control consultations, and prenatal care.

Ms. Carpenter is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). When she is not working, she enjoys swimming, paddle boarding, and creating pottery.
